Trouble Registering

Trouble Registering

If you cannot see an event, ticket, or Register button, it may not be a technical issue. Registration options are based on your SEI student record, portal login, cohort, and training eligibility.

Seeing “No tickets available” or missing the Register button?

This does not always mean the event is sold out. It may mean one of the following:

  • You are not signed in to the SEI portal.
  • You are signed in with a different email than the one connected to your SEI student record.
  • You have not yet applied or been approved for the training path you are trying to join.
  • You are currently part of a different cohort and may need to submit a transfer request first.
  • The training level may require a form or request before registration can be completed.
  • Registration may not be open yet, may have closed, or may require staff review.

New or Prospective Students

If you have not applied or are trying to register for your first SE Professional Training module, please start with the Prospective Student information page before registering.

Current Students: Transfers

If you are trying to join a different cohort or training module than the one you are currently part of, you may need to submit a Transfer Request Form from your SEI portal.

To access the form, log in to the SEI portal, go to My Info, scroll to Student Forms for U.S. Based Students, and select Transfer Request Form.

Current Students: Advanced Training

If you are trying to register for Advanced Training, an Advanced Training Request Form may be required before registration access is granted.

To access the form, log in to the SEI portal, go to My Info, scroll to Student Forms for U.S. Based Students, and select Advanced Training Request Form.

Quick Technical Checks

If you believe you are eligible and are still not seeing registration options, please try the following:

  1. Use Google Chrome or Microsoft Edge on a computer, if possible.
  2. Log out of the SEI portal, close your browser, then log back in.
  3. Clear your browser cache and refresh the page.
  4. Confirm you are signed in with the email address connected to your SEI student record.
  5. Confirm the event is currently open for registration.

If one of the pathways above applies, please use that pathway before submitting this support request. If you are signed in, believe you are eligible, and still cannot see the event, ticket, or Register button, please continue below and include the event or cohort name, the email address you used to sign in, and a screenshot of what you are seeing.

Cancellation/Refund

Refund or Cancellation Requests

Refund and cancellation requests should be submitted from your logged-in SEI portal account.

This helps us connect your request to your SEI account, registration, order, and payment history. Refund and cancellation requests are reviewed according to SEI policy and may depend on the timing of the request, the event type, and your registration or payment status.

To access the form, log in to the SEI portal, go to My Info, scroll to Student Forms for U.S. Based Students, and select Refund/Cancellation Request Form.

If this guidance answers your question, you do not need to submit this Contact Us form. If you are logged in and still cannot find or access the Refund/Cancellation Request Form, please continue below and include the event name, the email address on your SEI account, and a screenshot if possible.
